The Positive African American Network (PAAN) works with HIV-positive African Americans across the country to develop skills in coalition building, public speaking and presentation. PAAN members live in diverse regions of our nation, such as San Diego, Detroit, Tuscaloosa, Mobile, Baltimore, the District of Columbia, New York City, Anchorage, and Atlanta.
In 2007, PAAN members became highly visible at local events for National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, National HIV Testing Day, HIV Prevention Leadership Summit, US Conference on AIDS, and Pride events in Nashville, Washington DC, Detroit, Atlanta, and Long Beach.
